A positive affirmation is something positive you say to yourself.
I want to remember that every day is another opportunity.
Whenever I have a bad day or I feel like I missed out on something I should have done, I always tell myself, there is always tomorrow. Each new day is a new chance to right some past wrongs and try out new things.
During covid, when I was stuck at home and doing online college, everyday felt the same. Wake up in the same room, stay in the same room for 10+ hours, maybe go for a run outside, eat, and sleep in the same room. Rise and repeat that almost everyday for 1-2 years and it made me depressed. I thought to myself, if this is what everyday is going to be like for the rest of my life, I rather just die than live miserably.
Now, everyday feels different because we can go outside, go explore different areas, and meet new places. There are some days where I just feel tired and stay at home the whole day. However, the freedom in my choice makes all the difference between feeling caged in your home versus feeling relaxed in your home.
