88. If you could’ve been in any band or musical group (current or defunct), which one would you like to be in? What role would you play? (05/11/2023)

For some background, a large majority of songs that I listen to are purely instrumental. They rarely have lyrics. Many of those songs are from video game soundtracks and they get me pumped during workouts. Sometimes its a guitar solo part or the recovery part of the song where it briefly lowers its speed and volume before bringing back the rhythm with more energy than before. I love these moments in the songs.
One of my all time favorite song is Ricochet Love. It's one of the soundtracks from an old website flash game I used to play when I was 10 years old. It's from Raze 2. In the beginning, you only have some drums, bass, flute for a slow beginning. Once the bass drops, they also add other electric instruments to signify that the song has officially begun. They add some rap segments before the song lets the flute do its solo with a drum rhythm to give the listener some resting room. The playing of the violin signifies that the recovery is going to begin before the bass drops again for the song spring back to full energy. I love these moments and they keep motivating me to do the extra rep.
If I had to be in a band, I want to be part of the SEGA music team or CAPCOM music team to compose video game soundtracks. I want to play the flute in different tracks. I want to play it with a super quick rhythm and high tones to get the player hyped for the battle. I want to play it super slow and softly to relax the player when they are at a checkpoint or at a safe room. During the middle of the song, I want to slow it down to let the player breathe before I bring it back up to indicate the song ain't over yet.
