12 Did anything make you sad today? (03/10/2023)

This morning, after getting up and putting on my uniform, I am greeted by a strong gust of wind followed by small drizzles of rain on my hair. As I tightened my hat strap, I took a deep breath of the moist desert-shit air mixed with the freshly-made rain. Normally, this would be perfect weather for me to relax in. All I needed was a heavier rain, a cup of hot chocolate on my left hand and a notebook on my right to journal my thoughts.
However, I had to walk to work in a brisk pace to avoid getting counseled by my supervisor. It would have been a good day if I could take my time walking in the rain with an umbrella over my head. Sadly, that was not today.
